As of 2020, AARP reports that 53 million adults in the US are caregivers, 61% women and 39% men23% of Americans report a decline in their health due to caregiving. The most recent stats from the Family Caregiver Alliance estimate that nearly 20 percent of family caregivers suffer from some form of depression.
